The new Cirris CR tester has enabled us to add efficiency, accountability and traceability to our testing process.
In addition to the hardware investment we have improved our method of test fixture development, documentation and inventory to support our lean manufacturing process. Each test fixture is now added as a part on the BOM, process, and is tagged and inventoried in a set location.
The Cirris CR is PC based and enables Fourstar QA to monitor and track in process testing by customer assembly, work order and Fourstar operator.
With the new hardware and process all cables are being shipped 100% electrically tested point to point and for continuity.
